You gonna pretend that the 49 LSU hung at Ole Miss and Mizzou just doesn’t exist huh?

A big difference is that Bama has played 2 top 20 defenses, and LSU hasn't played a defense ranked higher than Arkansas, who is at 37.
Both Arky and Missou would be top-20 defenses, but for the yards LSU's sick offense put up on them

To confirm:

Removing the LSU game, Mizzou is at 309.3 per game

That would put them 1 spot below Bama at 16.

Arkansas would be better with 307.9

Arky would be 16
Mizzou 17

So, to assuage your concerns, Mizzou and Arky were top-20 defenses, until they met LSU

Bama beat two unranked teams, A&M and Arkansas by a combined total of 9 points! lol don't think ya'll are world beaters just because ya'll beat a bad Tenn. team

The kryptonite to Bamas great defenses under Saban have always been good dual threat QBs. If you look at their losses the QB, even if he isn’t known for it ran on them a good bit. Johnny Football, Georgias QB, Obviously Daniels from last year but even Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow had big runs against bama in the wins.

If they get out of their lanes Daniels will run, if you put a spy on him you are going to be short a man. Pick your poison

While Bama's O has improved, LSU's D is improving.

May be a shootout, though.
