But aubbies will be quick to point out how they ran for 440 yards. If lsu runs for 400+ yards, well now we know

We aren't your rivals.

Why don't you put this much time into your new rivalry with TAMU.

I've always thought of LSU, Auburn, and Georgia as very similar programs, historically speaking

I would say UGA and LSU, yes. Auburn is behind us. About even with UF. It's not a big gap, but there is a gap. I would also say LSU is closer to UT, than AU.

LSU's dominance of Auburn over the last 10 years by slacksterI'm usually not one to pile on to a team in disarray, but the dominance displayed on Saturday got me thinking about the recent history between the two schools. I went back through the last 10 full seasons (2005-2014) to examine just how superior LSU has been, and the numbers shouldn't be surprising to anyone:

Just to play devil's advocate, yes we have been pretty successful in this series since 2001; however, many of the games have been very close, slobberknocker types.
Also, Auburn has a few routs of LSU of their own in that time frame.
ROUTS in series since 1999:
1999 AU 41-7
2001 LSU 27-10
2002 AU 31-7
2003 LSU 31-10
2011 LSU 45-10
2014 AU 41-7
2015 LSU 45-21

The Auburn-LSU game is always a good one....

There was another one soon after that, but you already know. Auburn has 3 alone in the past 22 years. LSU hasn't had a perfect season since, what, Eisenhower?

Some very close games in the last ten years.

2004 AU: 10–9
2005 LSU: 20–17
2006 AU: 7–3
2007 LSU: 30–24
2008 LSU: 26–21

And then there was the 2012 game. LSU beat one of the worst AU teams in history by 2 points: 12-10.

That doesn't mean anything to LSU fans, as long as someone pats them on the back and tells them they were good enough that's all that matters to them. Or at least that's what they would have you believe.

Just watch though, if they ever actually manage to pull it off they will lose their shite talking about their perfect season.

Now all that said, congrats on raping us Saturday. Of course AU would love to have the consistency LSU has had as a program during the Saban/Miles tenures but we have gone big enough recently for Auburn fans to hold our heads high.

As a fan I would much rather go 14-0, 8-5, 3-9, 13-1 than go 10-3 every year.

How do you figure that? You've won a NC and played for another. That's impressive. Those two shots at NCs are more than the previous 50 years before this past 10. You've won an SEC title, on average, every 5 years. That's better than your historical average.

You've had some seasons that suck, but your program has not sucked. On the contrary. It's been above historical average.
