But, but I was told next door that nobody actually does that.

I expect the defense to be really good this year based on the talent they have coming back. I think they will have to be.

The offense will be really green. No proven running backs, and an unknown at qb could spell trouble for any offensive production.

I can't see Ed O surviving if LSU wins only 7 or 8 games. Those fans are hungry for a return to the top.

You just proved that anyone can be a sports writer. Like weather men, you dont have to be right.

LSU's defense gonna need extra oxygen on the sideline when dem Dawgs come to Baton Rouge

I think they can handle it with 3 plays and a break.

Whatever it takes to get Aramarkalleva out of Baton Rouge.

One sub-par season might be the sacrifice it takes to accomplish that.

I could care less about ONE season. I'm more concerned about competent long term stability in the Athletic Department and Football program.

All the "Dumb as Georgia Red Clay Dirt" LSU simpleton's are not. They can't see the future; only concerned about their tailgate plans and attending the game next week.

All hail legendary Louisiana mediocrity.

And you think that LSU having a bad season will make that a reality. So dumb.

f LSU wins 7+ games Orgeron will be back.

No O will be there until one of two things. Alleva is canned then he will be or

Alleva will have to fire his arse to save his own job.

I think with the defense we field, LSU can easily win 8 games. The real test is how we play against Bama because let’s be real, they are the measuring stick. It hurts to say as an LSU alumni, but it’s true.

I can easily see us losing 6-7 games as our schedule is by far the toughest in the country.

Jesus H. Christ, 7? That would mean we lose 7 out of 9 to Miami, Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida, Georgia, Miss St, Alabama, Arkansas and Texas A&M.

I get that we are unproven but that is just ridiculous. There is no way in hell we lose 7 out of those 9 and if we do I guarantee Coach O is gone!

I have been pissed off since the morning that they announced Orgeron as the permanent LSU head coach.

LSU does suck relative to the talent that has come through Baton Rouge and that is on coaching and the ADs that hired them!

Ed has an $8.5 million dollar buyout. He's not going anywhere, anytime soon. They're already paying Jones' and Miles' buyouts and will not add a third this year.

Exactly. Despite the lack of dynamic offense the last many years, LSU always always always had a running game, and could churn out first downs. LSU was 17th in the nation last year in Time of Possession.
If the running game isn't as good as it has been, that amazing front 7 is going to be left on the field too long. That's always a recipe for disaster.

C'Mon man! You think they give a shite about 8.5 mil? If we lose 7 out of 9 to the teams I listed, he gone! With that said, we ain't losing 7 out of 9, won't happen! We will be in all those games with our defense alone!
