If I remember correctly, after Tony Brown committed to Bama, we had to scramble to go sign Jamal Adams. That worked out okay.

I thought the same thing watching him last night. Tony Brown and Hootie were laughable. It’s an embarrassment for Bama to have them out there. You guys must really be banged up

Thanks for taking Hootie off our hands as well and allowing us to get Jamal.

Dylan Moses looked bad as well
Probably needs at least 3 years to get to the size he needs for Saban's approach.

Actually I'll thank you for Hootie Jones. LSU could have gotten him instead of Jamal Adams and Grant Delpit.

Yeah, a freshman that but for a massive number of injuries might have been redshirted or at most a special teams guy gets a lot more slack than a senior. Moses will get better. Brown is what he is.

Waste? Really..STFU...
Sorry Mr. Brown but Tony is not a good football player. That is what he means, wasted scholarship.

You're right Crimsonian. Lots of guys are thankful for that one. We were upset at the time, but not now.

The 5 for 5 worked out best for LSU talent wise it didn’t result in more wins but we wound up with the best players.
Yeah Jamal Adams and LF are who we got. not even sure what happen to the other 3

Nah, Jamal was locked up before Tony Brown made his decision. Saban had a FaceTime call with his dad that kind of swung the momentum towards Bama down the stretch.
Always thought as good of a DB prospect he was he was a better track/hurdle guy.
The 5 for 5 has become something legendary.

Just like LSU barely beat them 7-37? Even A&M didn't lose by that much.
