Ole Miss is about on par with Michigan State and Oklahoma State.

When did Michigan State and Oklahoma State go to the playoffs?

Apples to Oranges-

Michigan State has had six 11+ win seasons and several Big 10 football championships since Saban left, Oklahoma State under Grundy has had seven 10+ winning seasons.

They have several top ten finishes and would have likely been in the playoff multiple times under the current format.

If anything, being compared to these programs should in no way be considered a dig against Ole Miss.

When was Ole Miss ever ranked second in the country? Oklahoma St. was in 2011. Pretty clearly they would have been in a 4 team playoff, much less a 12 team one. Michigan St. made a 4 team playoff about ten years ago. Ole Miss never did and wouldn’t have this year. So your post is embarrassingly clueless.

Franchione did a good job at Bama considering the NCAA cloud we were under, including waxing Saban's LSU at Tiger Stadium. But he told all of us that he was not leaving and told us to "hold the rope" the day before he left. He never spoke to the team. You probably shouldn't hire a coach willing to stab his previous team in the back. Time will tell if that includes Lane.

Ole Miss to LSU=lateral move....

If he wants to think that, it really shows just how little the Aggies actually know about the SEC or college football in general lol
