TN, Nebraska, Miami, Texas, PSU (they tried for 10 years to fire Joe PA), Auburn, Wisconsin (the fans ran off BB to Arky) and some others.
All completely different.
Nebraska-no recruiting base
Tenn-no recruiting base (3 coaches in a span of 2 years b/c of Kiffin)
Miami-competing with FSU and Florida in-state doesn't help when you have down years
Texas- waited too long to fire Mack Brown, weeds grew within program, difficult to remove
Penn St.- Joe Pa had coached there for 45 years....................................................
I doubt any coach will ever coach that long at a school ever again.

You may be right. But Les also may win out this year, get back in it next year with a flame shooting out his arse like a rocket and burn down the SEC then retire whenever the hell he feels like and tell Aleva to go frick himself.
Or he might just lose, get fired, somebody comes in with all this talent and looks like a freaking genius next year and wins over the fanbase, the boosters, and everyone else....
with Miles players.
Or Aleva fires Les, makes a shitty hire, and we find out what tDecline is actually about and wonder how we could have been this stupid.
We won't know for awhile.
Lets watch the games and see.

You fire a coach whos main struggle is simply Alabama.
In other words, the same struggle every single other coach faces, except for Alabama's.

Didn't read the thread. Don't care if people stated this, I'll state it anyway:
Les Miles hires his friends, he doesn't hire the best people for the job. He doesn't let them do their job when he does hire them. On top of that, they are overpaid yes men (see Cam Cameron).
Oh, and Les Miles makes 4.5 million fricking dollars per year which means he should be delivering. LSU has the facilities, fan base and recruiting base to do better than they are.
Les Miles' main recognition is his recruiting prowess, but why are we depleted in several positions on the team? He doesn't know how to gameplan for shite, and the thing is he used to be an amazing gameplanner. It used to be give Miles a month and he would rape your arse in a bowl game. Not anymore.
Les Miles has become complacent here. He takes this job for granted. He let John Chavis out the door and allowed Chavis to absorb all the blame for the end of last season in order to once again prevent himself from being on the hot seat.
He never gives a straight answer to the media. He doesn't take enough accountability for losses. LSU may make a homerun hire after Miles, they may whiff badly, but one thing is for certain, Les Miles is NOT getting the job done at LSU for what he is getting paid, and there have been absolutely no signs that he will get it turned around.
