Sorry BAMA, but you're not gonna make it out of Death Valley this year.

Death Valley was like our practice field for over 30 years. We roll bigger this year in BR than any of Sabans last two victories.

Not that being thoroughly dominated in the fourth quarter had anything to do with that loss.

I assure you no Alabama team as ever been afraid of "Death Valley". A 16-3-1 record there since 1970 suggests that as well.

Because history has a lot to do with how a game will turn out

New Year, New Team, Same Coach(frick), I like our chances.

bullshite dude. Bama dominated your offense all game and had your guys leaving from being hit too hard or cramping or just fricking giving up. The game wasn't as close as the scoreboard showed and regardless I know the scoreboard was all that mattered. UT and Auburn played us tougher and had the better chance to beat us, not LSU. I am sorry about the obvious bad call on the INT but the better team won the game pal.

I'll bet you and everyone else here was new at one time. Jeez dude. I would have posted here when we sucked under Shula if I knew this place existed. It's a very, very nice board to talk about football and other sports that some folks are interested in. I didn't just decide that since we are back as a top 5 or 10 program that I'd just pop in now and proclaim how great we are. I respect all SEC football programs, you can have a losing record and still be pretty damn good team simply because of the fact that we're all very good. We kill each other.

OK, you guys didn't do too bad considering the level of our D in the first half so I stand corrected. The rest of the way we eat your lunch.

If you want to say something changed the outcome, let's say that PP having cramps when Julio scored the long TD was the turning point for LSU and there chance to win more so than the blown INT call imo. Edited to add that I hope LSU is injury free and playing their best ball when we visit. It's good for both of us.

Bama's offense actually was the much more dominant than their defense against LSU. If Alabama had a decent QB that game, they would have easily compiled 550+ yards of offense and put up 40+ points. McElroy was so bad I almost thought he was throwing the game. It reminded me of the movie Bad Lieutenant when the starting RB for LSU was blackmailed into playing poorly in key moments so his team will win but not enough to cover the spread. Only in this case, the starting player didn't bench himself and Alabama did cover the spread although McElroy did everything in his power to keep the game close towards the end.
