Their O-line was elite this year but a few things held them back. If they would have had an elite running back or quarterback they may have made the playoffs.

LSU fans just aren't very smart. They think because the Alabama front 7 pushed their shite in 2 straight years it means their line is garbage. The Bama front 7 isn't just good, it's elite as frick. It wasn't that their line was bad, it's just Bama is indeed that good.

We had good interior play, we had very average OTs. Notice in the PFF write up it NEVER mentions any of our OTs that played this year.
I'd much rather have 5 above average OL than 3 good interior and 2 serviceable OTs
