We don't get Burrow if Les stays. The dynamics are totally different if O isn't the coach. Now if you're asking, if Les was inserted at coach of the 19 team ? Heck yea, Les kills it. Les had more coaching smarts in his eyelash than O. Best thing O did was shut up and stay out of the way. Even Brady had to override O sometimes. O wanted to go conservative and Brady didn't want to.
I don't know if LSU will ever win a natty again. I've seen 3. The first was the most special to me. (07) That said, going undefeated is other worldly. Never thought I would witness that in my lifetime.

Les knew how to sound dumb and let everyone believe it. BK interviews suck. Les entertained.

I hear ya. And it wasn’t much of a brag.
It was just for informational purposes.
It was an annual game that was a lot of fun because of the recruiting intrigue.
So when the series was cancelled it was a sore subject.

Les and Ed were both really good fits. They won big games, which also helped with perception.
But they got past poor performances or press conferences because they were more beloved and understood by the fanbase.
I will say this, BK doesn’t sound too riled up this week. He sounds pretty calm.

For first time ever I watched the BK press conference this week. Politely, the only way I know how to describe it is very awkward. He seems to be a Coach that doesn't want to be there at LSU.
