You can't win the SEC if you don't make it to Atlanta.

I was unaware that coaches like Dan Mullin made it to Atlanta in year one of a rebuild after taking over a team that had 39 scholarship players for a bowl game and had to start a WR at QB. Trying to downplay what Kelly had done this year is just plain stupid.

Yeah, it's a fricking stepping stone and that's why your only argument towards it is that it's a stepping stone.

Dan Mullen went...wait for it...9-3 his first year at Florida. Florida didn't go to the SECCG that year, because Georgia was good. It's not like LSU got to the SECCG because you had a great team, you got there because other teams like Alabama are clearly down.

That you can't tell the difference between your team improving and other teams taking a step back being the biggest factor to your success is not my problem and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

Congrats, maybe you'll shock the world. I'll actually be pulling for LSU in Atlanta, but don't expect me to say a bunch of bullshite about the "accomplishment" because it's not coming. I know what I see.

You lost a recruit to a team with no coach. And got smoked by the faggies.

Whatever makes you feel better I guess. Please continue to pump yourselves up beyond the reality, then blame the refs every time you come up short. It's the LSU way I'm starting to think.

I'm not mad. You want to pretend I'm mad because it makes you feel better.

BK exceeded my expectations and LSU was better than I thought they would be this year. I thought he made a great call against Alabama in OT, and LSU deserved the win. I also thought the call he made last night to go for 2 when he could have taken the XP to make it 14 points instead of 15, with no real benefit of making it 13 points was equally as dumb. So now I'm wondering if he just got lucky on a 50/50 decision previously.

Also now that you lost to A&M, that difference is really just the Alabama game, a game at home that went to OT. While obviously Alabama is down.

So where is the big LSU improvement? It doesn't actually exist. Lost to FSU, blown out by Tennessee @ home, blown out by A&M. 4 point win over Auburn. 10 point win over Florida, and a 3 point win over Arkansas.

Beat a down Alabama, that is the actual LSU accomplishment here.

I'm just calling it like I see it. If the OP was an Alabama fan making this same shitty post, I'd be saying the same thing. It's all just a big lie.

The truth is, the only people melting today are LSU fans. And that's why your fan base is making shitty threads like this as a means to cope.

"We may have lost to the worst team in the SEC, but damn it here are my moral victory points" is all I see.

If you can come back next week and say you won the SECCG, that would be something. I seriously hope you do. Otherwise, frick your moral victory.

You are melting so hard because Alabama wasted Bryce Young by losing to LSU. You’re taking solace in A&M doing what Alabama was too soft to do.

That's not because LSU lacked the talent/team. It's because your coach got lazy, decided he wanted to spend more time with the blondes and mailed it in.

And like I said, I think LSU did better than expected. So I don't mean to suggest there is no improvement. But you guys are exaggerating this shite out of it.

Yep, this must be it.

I mean, it's crazy to suggest the team that got blown out by A&M last night isn't as good and improved as everyone thought.

This is what's wrong with society today. A bunch of punk bitches who can't debate the points and just look for ways and reasons to cancel out the opinions they don't want to hear.

No doubt.

And Brian Kelly just took a less talented roster and went 9-3 vs 6-6 a year ago.

I predicted LSU to go 7-5 with the depleted roster CBK started with. They beat my expectations by 2 games. These are the kinds of losses that happen to teams with the lack of depth toward the end of the season.

It’s not rocket science, you moron. Going from 6-6 and last in the west to 9-3 and first in the west in one season is improvement.

No one really cares if you’re man enough to admit it or not. You just look like a fool in denial.

Improvement isn't linear.

LSU definitely played a bad game last night, probably their second or third worst game of the year.

Conversely, A&M played far and away their best game of the year.

Either way, I will take 9-3 over 6-6 any day.

Is that more about BK or Coach O?

I thought LSU would go 7-5 or maybe 8-4. I kind of feel like my bigger miss was how much Alabama was down this year, because I thought Alabama should have everything it needs. Take away that error on my part, and LSU is 8-4, about what was expected, slightly better. That game is the big miss.

You guys can say and call me what you want, but that game last night really changed my opinion on this.
