White and Robinson are the best CB tandem in the country. They are backed by our returning leader in INT, Jalen Mills, and Jalen Collins. Mills is now the starting safety opposite Martin. Our LB's are fast and athletic. They are also somewhat lean. Which is why we struggle some with a power running attack. We go four deep at each Secondary position. Ask A&M and Auburn if we can physically shut done a 5 WR set with a mobile QB.

Well for starters, LSUs secondary has given up zero tds against FBS opponents. And has allowed very little yardage.

Les is used to kicking our arse. LSU's offense will play conservative and State's run d will be strong. We will give new looks that we haven't shown yet and give the qb problems. Merlins will call a conservative game as always and our o line will have problems. The first quarter and a half will be ugly. I think state has made an effort to hold some stuff back. After the ugly first part, i don't think we really know what will happen. I think it will be a really good game with a couple key bounces going lucky les's way.

30-17. Late LSU touchdown puts it away. Going to be a close game. I just don't think MSU has the physicality to pull off the upset. I do think they upset someone though.

You mean a game where Mett threw 3 INT's after throwing 2 all year?
I think the A&M and Auburn victories the last few years speak volumes about our defensive style vs numerous offensive threats. MSU will be no different.

Like wise, you have no passing threat but can run. MSU has one of the best 2 deep Dl in the country as well as nfl caliber lbs. It's why we are top 5 in the nation in tackles for a loss and very high in team sacks.
If you stop our run... you will do it at the expense of leaving man on man with our passing game. We are not wisconsin .... sorry, but we are way better than any team you have faced in passing.

While I agree that MSU is loaded on the DLine, it's not like LSU doesn't go up against that every year in just about every SEC game.

LSU is fine with this. We do this against every run heavy team. They do call it DBU for a reason. That's where the game comes down to.

You're not Wisconsin. Wisconsin is better than MSU. You don't have to pass the ball every play to win. Look at LSU since '08 minus last year when they decided to pass for 3000 yards.
