LSU played as basic as they could last night
that doesn't have much to do with man on man, trenches football.

nah it doesn't but when you know lsu is running it then its alot easier to stop it. nsu knew we were running we never tried to hide it. against state it will be a little different and im really not worried at all about the state game after yesterday.

The ability to run. And their O is designed for gashing. Your not gonna see Lee running the Option/toss.

State hasn't been blown out at home since Bama 2009 in Starkville, and that's really been the only home game under Merlins that got ugly. I think some of you are setting yourselves up for dissapointment in terms of the score(LSU wins).

That's why we have a roster of 6 running backs. If we have to we will line Ware up at QB in the wildcat

i wont be disappointed if we dont score 40. I will be pissed if its closer than 2 scores though.
If its like 09 im fricking lose it. I have no doubt this team will be ready and hyped unlike 09 or last night. Honestly its hard to take anything away from last night due to LSU not needing to give a shite.
if LSU scores early i think state folds after the devastating loss on the plains, hopefully merlins can rally the troops after the LSU game

i thought he was trolling earlier when he said state would win.

i just don't see a blowout happening to be honest. i don't think LSU's offense is built to do it and that Oregon game is a different animal due to offseason of preparation.

if the d holds state down like they should i think it turn into a blowout. Im thinking we have that da U swag where our guys show up in big prime time games and make the big plays that take a game from close to blow out. it wont all be on o, the d might get a td in starkvegas.

I was earlier, but after I've had a few, frick it.
I do believe it will be much, much closer than expected. Slight chance for an upset, so ima go with the dawgs.

3 of LSU's first 4 opponents run similar spread offenses. You're one of the 4.
We have been preparing since January for uptempo offenses and stoping big gain plays. So far so good.
It's a blow out waiting in the wings.

Highly doubt yall blow us out but I do think yall will win.
38-28 LSU
38-28 LSU

imo we need to spread the field a bit and give ford the rock over and over. it will help LSU and my fantasy team

what is interesting is that you believe that the oregon game was the only one LSU was preparing for during the entire offseason

LSU 31
MSU 17

State's spread option involves a power running game. Oregon and WVU's rely on the edges and speed. Not the same at all.

The scheme is still the same, and we have the bodies to push olines around.

no it isn't. arkansas' pro style offense isn't the same as Bama's. State has rushed for close to 600 yards over the past two weeks.
