I am watching GT vs Georgia right now and would like some input from sec brethren on how we stack up.

Right now I don't know what to make of Georgia's oline. They are the biggest group in the sec with three seniors and two sophomores starting. Looks like GT is getting good pressure, is this an anomaly? Or is you're oline a really strong unit?

I am impressed with the defense, but looks like GT is having success to the edge, however, it's still the first quarter.

Nothing much with Georgia's running game and GTs qb is horrible throwing the ball.

Georgia has a really good punter from what I can tell. And Murray can run well and has a strong accurate arm

anything else? Haven't watched them all year really.
Someone learn me some stuff

Murray is far from accurate. He's very streaky.

my honest analysis: ( i break down alot of games on the betting thread, this isnt just homer LSU)

LSU is better at every position except one but I dont think Murray is that much better than our QB's play recently

Our best game/most complete game was against Auburn.

Defense played well against Tech, but watching a defense against the triple option won't matter when we play LSU. I'd watch the Auburn game which is (hopefully) the type of intensity that you'll see on Saturday.

to a good game

Yes i agree, but to be honest, the only game that showed we were worth a damn (and healthy) is Auburn. Plus it's a common opponent.

Watching the GA tech game won't give you a look at our pass rush. And to whoever above me said that LSU is better at every position, Jarvis is better than your LB's and IDGAF if you think otherwise

Murray has gotten better this November
Every game besides the Kentucky game has been 200 plus and 4 TD's and more

Out of 99 attempts Murray has 17 TD's this month
The other QB's with that many TD's this month are Luck, Barkley, and Moore. All of them had 120 or more pass attempts

You won't find disagreement here. Jarvis is top notch.

our OL blows but they have gotten a lot better. also, murray is accurate under 25 yds, beyond that your guess is as good as ours. AU he hit all the deep guys but then you have games like UT where we missed 4 deep TDs

If LSU doesn't turn the ball over will be a cakewalk! Lost to the only 2 teams on their schedule with a pulse. In the past month looked downright pedestrian against UK and Vandy in close wins! Have a ton of talent overall but lines are soft, SC and Boise dominated on both lines of scrimmage and LSU is an upgrade to both of those teams at LOS!

My objective analysis:

QB: UGA
RB: LSU (not talent wise but depth wise unless Samuel comes back)
WR: Push
TE: UGA
OLINE: LSU

DLINE: LSU
LB: UGA
DB: LSU
Safeties: LSU

SP Teams: LSU
Defensive Coaching: Push
Offensive Coaching: LSU

God N Stuff: UGA

Yeah, three tight ends used extensively by UGA.

Orson Charles is often a matchup issue, more of a hybrid WR type but had a HUGE game against the maggots.

Aron White is a more prototypical TE, he adds a few TD catches now and again.

UGA's OC (Bobo) definitely spreads the ball around a young but impressive revolving receiving corps as well as the TE's.

Georgia has a really good defense but they will not be able to stop LSU's run game.

Lsu has the best overall run game in the SEC
Passing is good enough to keep defenses from putting 8 or more in the box all the time.

Georgia has a solid offense with a very good QB

Lsu's defense well what can I say.

Bottom line georgia will stack the box to try and stop the Lsu running game where JJ or JL will have some playaction passing plays. Georgia will back out and have 7 in the box and then Lsu will dominate in the running game.

Game will be alot like the arkansas game. Lsu will probably start out slow on offense, fast on defense/ST. Offense will come alive end of 1st start of 2nd and then will dominate rest of game.
