Facts are facts. Bama has always been very good in Tiger Stadium. They hold the winning record there.

Strange that Bama has only lost 9 games @LSU in the playing history of 37 games.

QB: SHOULD be LSU
WR: SHOULD be LSU
Oline: lsu
RB: LSU

Dline: Even, it depends on how Aranda makes the Defense look.
LB: even, but maybe closer to bama. However Aranda should be able to hide a weakness at linebacker if there is one for LSU.
DB: Should be LSU

Head coach: Bama
OC: Bama
DC: LSU

Home field: LSU

Gonna be a good game like always in Tiger Stadium and I have no doubt winner goes to Atlanta.

QB: SHOULD be LSU but until its proven otherwise bama
WR: very slight edge to LSU as far as talent and experience but QB play has a lot to do with this and could be bama if Harris hasn't improved
Oline: Push LSU is very strong this year but so is bama.
RB: LSU but bama always has talented runners

Dline: Bama, LSU may have closed the gap a little
LB: Bama usually has the best in the nation. LSU has improved greatly with beckwith staying
DB: Push 5* on both sides

Head coach: Bama
OC: Bama
DC: Push

Home field: Should be LSU but bama plays well in TS

Gonna be another great game. We are optimistic with the Arnada hire and if Harris is improved we may have a special year. If not another 9-10 win season. bama is bama and will always be tough.
If both are undefeated LSU 1 point favorite at home.

Does LSU even have multiple starters back? Do they use a TE?

Does LSU still hold the record in BDS or is it tied up now? Pretty sure we still have a game up on y'all

Alabama is 24-16 versus LSU at home or "neural". That is 12-9 in Tuscaloosa and 12-7 in Birmingham/Montgomery/Mobile/New Orleans. Alabama is 26-8 in Baton Rouge.

College football data warehouse doesn't filter it out any better on mobile.

I'm talking about in Bryant-Denny. I think LSU is 9-8 all time in that stadium.

I'm on mobile too

Based on what? When was the last time that lsu was clearly better than Alabama at this position? 2006? 2007? Look at what Kiffin/Saban have done with this position compared to Miles/Cameron and explain why lsu "should" be better than Alabama here.

quote:

WR: SHOULD be LSU

Again, based on what? Ridley was one of the most dynamic receivers in the country a year ago. Stewart had a really good season. Foster returns from a shoulder Injury and has been the best of the bunch in spring practice. OJ Howard is a a mismatch. Gehrig Deiter transfers in after a great year at Bowling green. I don't get it. Alabama returns more production and probably more pure talent. Dupree is a beast, Johnson has potential. Dural is good at getting vertical. I don't see how this equates to should be better than what Alabama brings back.

quote:

Dline: Even, it depends on how Aranda makes the Defense look.

It doesn't approach even. No one on the lsu defensive line would start at Alabama.

quote:

DC: LSU

Based on what, again? Arranda has been in a notoriously bad offensive league and doesn't have anything to show for it. His defense gave up 59 in the big 10 championship game in one of the worst maulings I've ever witnessed. Pruitt DC'd a national champion, and learned under Saban and Smart before all of that. Y'all said the same shite about Cameron when he arrived and Steele when he arrived. God damn at the homers. I don't know y'all watched these teams play a year ago and deducted that lsu is really even close in talent or coaching to Alabama.

Looks like it is 9-9 now. But again, the data warehouse doesnt break it out very thoroughly. Alabama is 13-9 in Tuscaloosa, but anything prior to 1929 wasn't in BDS.

Outside of the Iron Bowl, did Auburn play any big games in Legion?

They occasionally did. A few time in the 1970s there were Alabama and Auburn games held in the same day. In fact I believe there was an Alabama-LSU and auburn-Tennessee game at Legion Field in one day.

Just the stadium, not the town?

According to this LINK, Bama and LSU are tied in BD stadium with 8 wins each.

BD stadium opened in 1929.

Bama & LSU 1st game in BD, 1947.

Bama & LSU have played 16 games in the stadium; 5 before this played on Denny Field for a total of 21 games played in Tuscaloosa.

Bama leads in Tuscaloosa 12-9.

Looks like it us 8-8 as the '51 game played on wikipedia says it was played in Tuscaloosa, yet other sources have that as played in Mobile.

(Just want to have my trolling correct since I'm here all the time)

Now, how many games does Alabama lead in Tiger Stadium? Just the stadium, not the town.

Bama is 26-9-2 all time in Baton Rouge. But how many was in Tiger Stadium?

Edit... Tiger Stadium opened in 1924. Before that Bama had won 2 games & lost 1 in Baton Rouge. So taking those three games away, Bama leads in Tiger Stadium 24-8-2.

I'd assume the first game played in TS for the series would be 1925. I should know where LSU played before then, but I forgot the name of the field.

Edt: State Field in Downtown BR
