First game out the blocks we played a very good offense. We will get better and so will Banma. But I like this LSU team. I don't see jj coming back and in a way it's a good thing that we used our backs and O-line. But hey, who knows right?

I have to disagree. Oklahoma and Bama won and won convincingly and didnt do anything to deserve to be knocked down. Just how the polls go. Besides , I love the position of being the hunter rather than the hunted.

LSU has by far the #1 D in the country..hell our DE ran down James... lol and even thought we prolly wont move up to #1 i still think we should get #2..as it was said before if Oregon beats LSU they move up to #1 but since we smoked them...we only get #3? gatta love the pardoy in college football

They gave up 27 points and 350 yds. to an Oregon offense they wasn't as good as the one a crappy AU D shut down last year.

I feel bad for you if you don't think our defense is good. 7 points and how many of those yards were us playing a prevent defense, keeping everything in front of us with a 20 point lead, to run out the clock?

I want to point out to all the bama fans, a Texas A&M fan started this thread. Obviously, you're going to have a few uneducated fans from both teams, saying that so and so should be ranked higher. But for all the football savvy gents of the sec rant, you should have never came into this thread with facts, stats, or opinion. This thread is worthless until about mid November.
now lets relish in the fact that we have elite teams, vying for top 5 spots in the COUNTRY. And we can laugh at the Arkansas fans for feeling mistreated and overlooked, if y'all wanna do that.
