On week 2 of PpSA silverback and really enjoying slightly lower volume and higher weights. Think I’m gonna skip Benchuary but snag the workouts :)
If Nuss comes back, it’s to an OL and WR corps with a lot of young players and question marks.

No guarantees he improved his draft stock with another year in that situation…
I dont think an every day deadlift program is going to require a month off before benching a lot :D
Hangover was rough today. I did the cardio while wife was squatting (4x25 pushdowns/hammer curls/db shrugs) and it was a horrible no good idea for the rest of the workout lol
I just squatted 405, which was what my max was set at. I might have had 10-20 in me, but felt like my form was breaking down a little bit and it was slow to come up so I called it. Not bad because I also lost 10 lbs this month without seeing maxes dip
Tomorrow’s PR is 2025 working set. Might as well go buy some plates
He programmed breakfast food for Thursday so who knows
I was thinking either dumbbell strength or Pool Season November
We got after it: took turns doing the skits with maybe a minute between sets in them, then rest when partner was squatting. Then one of us did chins while the other benched. This was my master plan to not unrack every time I squatted lol.

Matched my lifetime PR at 385; pretty tired after this week tho. Finishing up the recovery walk and going to crush a pot roast soon

//edit: my hamstrings were so damn tight on the first few 5x5 sets I thought they might pop. Then I saw this as I’m finishing up haha
14 again on squats (325); felt hard AF. Resting up while wife squats then it’s 265lb benching (oh dear)

Nah it’s been fun. I wonder if we get a 90% singles pressure cooker Friday? Haha
14 sets of squats at 305. Last rep of last set I damn near failed and I for sure had no reps in reserve baha
Ah there’s the pressure cooker. 75% triples sounds sneaky though to pace yourself
I had a cold most of this week and am finally feeling back to normal. Get rest and hit it hard later.

Day 18 kicked our butts today too. I did the cardio first while wife was squatting, and subbed in 1 arm db rows to be able to get the superset done with 1 barbell. Things were going fine then that superset hahaha
I was so sore and tired today that the short and easy workout wasn’t a walk in the park. I did cardio while wife was deadlifting so we weren’t swapping weights, so I had to deadlift after 5x10 kb swings. At least that’s my excuse :)

Tomorrow looks long but not THAT bad. That triple superset will get the weekend started
