Not trying to trivialize at all. Like I said, it sounded like there was some misunderstanding about what kind of contact was permissible (at least from the LSU side of the story) and there were people talking with recruits that were not suppose to be and when they were not suppose to be. Could easily have been an innocent mistake, but you were glossing over that completely.

If you look at the quotes, it certainly does seem that way.

They were specifically referring to Hicks in that statement. They found out more of McCarthy's shenanigans and reported them.
