So it was not officially scheduled until February 2020.
I'm just gonna go out on a frickin limb here and say maybe they needed to clear it with the ACC and SEC first to make sure the dates wouldn't conflict.
Regardless, weird thing for you to melt over when UF has a game tonight, and by the way, what kind of G5 shite is a Thursday night game? I know LSU has beat Florida down for a decade, but you're supposed to be SEC.

Per Brett McMurphy on August 9, 2018:
Oh, look at that - I WAS wrong. They knew 5 years ago that LSU-FSU would open up the 2022-23 seasons.
Stop being a phaggot.

Sources: LSU, Florida State agree to 2-game neutral site series. LSU & FSU agree to open 2022 season in New Orleans & 2023 in Orlando

That’s a lot of effort for a shitty troll

And he was 100% wrong from go.
He just needed a distraction from UFail losing a fricking Thursday game.

Already 5 pages now.
LSU fans are in off-season mode and nowhere near mid-season form. I think wimmins shooty hoops and baseball has gotten them soft in the summertime.
This is not baseball season or even basketball season.
This is football season, and everyone will be reminded of this tonight, when the toe meets leather and everyone is watching UF.
It is going to be fricking terrible for Gators up in here.

Still not wrong and was never wrong ITT.

I don't need a distraction today, that is tonight.
Thanks for trying, at least you gave an effort, which is more than most LSU fans.

They didn’t schedule Florida State because they predicted Florida State would be bad in the years to come. LSU is one of the few schools actually scheduled majors out of conference games.

Man one of these days UF is going to schedule someone tough like FSU. Maybe even in Tallahassee.

What's up Wolfman!

Come on in and take some shots, it's football season and we are just having a nice little schedule discussion up in here. WadeWilson was just agreeing with me that reportedly and officially are two different thangs. It was really nice of him to point that out.

In 2018 it was reported that LSU and FSU had officially scheduled to play each other at neutral sites in the opening weeks of 2022 and 2023.
That is a fact that refutes your OP.

But that is not what your link says and it is not what happened. Here is your news source.
quote:
FSU, LSU Reportedly Agree to 2-Game, Neutral-Site CFB Series for 2022 and 2023
Then you have my link where both schools announced it. Which is my news source.
quote:
The Florida State Seminoles and the LSU Tigers have scheduled a neutral-site football series for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, both schools announced on Tuesday.
That Tuesday was February 11, 2020.
LSU won the national championship on Jan. 13, 2020, just 4 weeks prior.

LSU fans have now made at least 4 response threads due to this.

Who are y’all looking for to be your next HC
I told y’all yellow teeth wouldn’t last long
And your current coach won’t either
And he is a good coach but you better start getting top 5 recruiting classes
Because you will be at best #4 in the East

Even still if you go to McMurphy's tweet. He tweets "sources" which is about as unofficial as it gets.

Hey Rohan. Was thinking maybe getting ED O on board for the next head coach or Lester the molester. I have always heard good things about them OTR.

LSU fans know I love 'em. Like a brother from another mother, but you have to keep things spirited on occasion. I try to keep it above the belt.
