It's not like when he came to LSU and turned us around. BAMA fired Shula for lack of results, not because they hadn't won a championship since 1958. Sheesh. Saban had a weak schedule, during a down SECW year, and people act like he did something.

There's a reason Bama had to start most of it's 2008 recruiting class this season, and it isn't because they're talented and did it for the frick of it.

I get it, you hate Alabama and Nick Saban. I hate Alabama as well, but that doesn't mean I won't give credit where credit is due. Let's go through this one more time, and you tell me agree or disagree:

1. 2007 LSU was more talented than 2008 Alabama
2. 2007 LSU's losses were to teams much tougher than anyone 2008 Alabama played.
3. Winning all 12 regular season games, including trips to Georgia and LSU, is unimpressive.
4. Losing on the road to a team you beat 49-0 the year before as the #1 team, then losing AGAIN at home on Senior Day to a 6-6 team as the #1 team, is impressive.

Bama went 12-0 in the regular season.
LSU went 10-2 in the regular season.

Alabama Nick Saban would destroy Lsu Nick Saban, not even close.

Both teams were also undefeated in regulation, with LSU having by far, the tougher schedule.

The signs of LSUs weakening defense were obvious in all 3 OT losses the past two years.

Really? Last night's game didn't count in regular season? So why isn't Bama going to the BCS if they're undefeated

And you wonder why people call Bama fans delusional.

The man has NEVER had an undefeated season.

Yeah, it's kinda cute. Kinda insulting but not really mean like most insults here (have to admit, mine could probably use some censoring and or refinement).

I'll try to refrain from it as much as possible, but sometimes I just can't help it.

Nah, you tend to use it about the right amount. Kinda when aggravated or just exasperated with something.

Seriously, goober?

My crack about being undefeated in regulation was sarcasm, I hope your reply is too. Nobody cares about the regular season records. It's the bonus games that count.

Please don't tell me you guys are going to claim a NC because you went undefeated this yr? You should understand that people will call you delusional.

She said nothing about claiming a NC. Only that Saban did something he has never done. As far as the goober comment, it's nice seeing a little bit of civility from a lady in here.

Well excuse me then....I didn't see the sarcasm in your comment. Of course we are not going to claim a NC, that's just stupid.

Well, y'all have done worse before:

1941 National Championship- This is a complete joke. The AP ranked Alabama 20th in the nation with 14 teams with better records in the top 20. Once again it is the Football Thesaurus that retroactively awards it. Alabama finished 3rd in the SEC that year. Mississippi State won the SEC title..yet Bama claims a National title!

1973 National Championship- AP puts Bama 4th after their bowl game loss. Bama claims a NC from the UPI poll that was taken before they met Notre Dame in the bowl game and lost. There were 3 teams with better records than Bama that year. The embarrassment of naming Alabama number one caused the UPI to name champions after bowl games. Yet Bammer has no shame in claiming it of course.

1978 National Championship- AP gives this to Alabama(11-1-0) even though USC (12-1-0) had the better record Guess who Alabama lost to that year? USC!!!!!!!!!. UPI gave the NC to USC.

Just to list a few.

They must be the dumbest sports ranking people ever then considering the following

Florida #120
Oklahoma # 119
Texas # 115

Washington State #1
Washngton #2
North Texas #3
Tulane #10

Geeze that is the worst schedule ranking site I have ever seen
