It would be very hard for LSU to close the gap in one off season with how marginal their recruiting has been the last couple of cycles. That 3 touchdown beatdown could have easily have been worse.
Bama lost some players, but not 3 tds worth.
I do expect it to be a more competitive game than last time as the Bama is the LSU superbowl. I think the by week will bite Les this yr and I'm li.d of glad Bama doesn't have one.

It means that no conference should have two participants in the NC since they already played a season long tournament to determine the best team in the conference. Basically voters and the media dismissed the rest of the country because of the eye test which is ridiculous. How unfair would it have been had Ohio St and Michigan matched up for the National Title instead of Florida getting a shot in 2006? Oh wait that has nothing to do with Bama so you couldn't care less.
Also the computers picked OSU over Bama and Bama didn't really have a exceptional reason to get a bump. No reason to get a mulligan.
Instead you have no true resolution last year with LSU with an SEC title and better record while their win over Bama on the road is worth less than a Bama win at a nuetral site. They also played in the same fricking division.

Alabama just beat the team you speak of 21-0... and you're asking us how can LSU lose?

See last years NC game. That should answer this question very clearly for you.

Oklahoma St lost to a terrible Iowa St team so frick the goddamn computers. Alabama was the best team in the nation last year. It was one of the few years the BCS got it right.

I watched it.
One team was better. By a lot.

Nope. You meant what I said you meant because you wanted no part of Bama again. You knew that we kicked the November game away.
And you're terrified that we'll kick your arse again this November in (ooh, scary) TS.
Admit it. That's the first step on the road to recovery.

Pretty much nailed it the LSU players were scared shitless to play Bama. Half the fan base was whining hoping Oregon, OSU, OU, Stanford etc would step up to the plate. The other half was spewing false bravado, and even convinced themselves they dominated the 1st game. LOL silly swamp people.

Although, I give much respect to Les Miles for taking the position he did leading up to that game, and after. The treatment he got from a large portion of the LSU fans and the Billy Bob Heberts was pathetic.

Oh I forgot Bama had such great kicking and just choked in November. Bama might as well have been kicking 70 yard field goals because they weren't in the kickers reliable range.
Yeah Bama is going to claim LSU was scared because they wanted a fricking rematch like all losers do. Why is Bama considered the better team when they win yet LSU is not considered the better team when they win?
Bama won on the 1/9 and LSU won on 11/6 there is no need to argue the bull shite as those are the facts.

Are you frickin' kidding me? He deserved criticism for allowing his team to divide over a QB controversy that should have never began because the best QB was on the bench.

If I had to point people to a reason why most think Bama fans are arrogant I'd direct them to this thread. Bama blew out LSU on 1/9 but it took LSU not even finding the building to do it and y'all didn't put the game away until late in the 3rd. In fact, after watching the replay yesterday, Jefferson had Landry wide the frick open for a TD down 15-0 and missed him by 8 yards. That's the kind of night it was.

I agree that he screwed up allowing JJ back so quickly. I actually made a post stating this the day of LSU's game vs. Kentucky...and was lambasted by Rant posters (as they quickly seemed to get behind JJ immediately).
Yep...I said it!
My point was that Les seemed to welcome the rematch and made no excuses at all after NOLA. He got my respect for that, that's all.

Now you're just being silly and butthurt.

I'm not arguing this. I'm laughing at all of the contortions you're going through in trying to prove that OSU was more deserving of facing LSU in NOLA than Bama. The outcome clearly disproves this.

I agree 100%,And while I honestly believe it would have been a daunting task for LSU to beat Bama again no matter what,He really didn't give his team a chance by refusing to handle the situation properly.

And what did it take for LSU to win in November?

We seem to be in agreement.
And it will be an equally daunting task for Bama to beat LSU in BR this November. Another SEC classic, I hope.
