Hill throwing one punch outside a bar was much worse than that.

It was.

Hill was on Probation.

Courtney was not.

See the difference?

Forget that he was 6'2" 250 and was slinging her around by her hair

But she dropped the charges? Or they declined to prosecute? Trouble just seems to follow these boys, doesn't it?

Yikes! Is this the only time he's been in trouble while on probation? Sounds like he's got a dose of the dumb gene - he should have known better than to have sex with a 14 year old girl, and to get into a bar fight in the first place.

FWIW the sex with a 14 year old was supposedly a blowjob from an underclassman when he was an upperclassman in high school.

The bar fight worries me more in a way. It sounded more like a sucker punch and he should have known enough to stay out of trouble since he was on probation for the sex incident that was pled down to a misdemeanor

Oh. As a 14 year old girl?

And I should say - consensual acts between teenagers is troubling when it comes to statutory rape charges. So much goes into it. So many things to consider. Were they dating, and did her parents know? Did he coerce her in any way, or was it something they both wanted? There are so many gray areas there.

And yes, he should have shown better judgement than to get into a bar fight, where he was the aggressor, knowing he's on probation.

He was arrested on Jan. 12, 2011. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Hill and another student, Avery Tate II, pressured a 14-year-old girl to perform oral sex.

He served his punishment for that. He was not allowed to be on the team for a year.

Upshaw is still awaiting his punishment from Saban.

So you think he should be punished twice for the same crime?

His newest offense is completely unrelated and relatively benign young adult male behavior.

In fact I heard he was protecting a girls honor.

See in Baton Rouge we protect women, not the men who beat women.

Well, you're wrong because every article I've read said he punched someone who was heckling for being a pederast.

You're not very good at this.

I can't believe we are sitting here arguing over which team's players are bigger scum bags. News flash: every major college football team has a big share of its own
