Well, in the interest of full disclosure, the court does have the ability to condition probation as it sees fit. Hill could have gotten a sweetheart deal. I don't know.
This is why I'm deferring to people in the legal community in his particular jurisdiction.
My question in general is: is it the arrest that would trigger a violation or would it have to be the resulting conviction?
I'm seriously asking, because I don't know the answer to that. But it seems like there would be a clear stance on that.

NLA and IANYA
A general answer would be....it depends. Most of what I see has arrest as the kickstarter. One has a right to a hearing though. In that revocation hearing, the accused and his counsel would offer to the court that the arrest was without merit, and that the lack of merit will be shown at trial, and ask to not be revoked.

I assume this is some sort of disclosure that makes me know to consult a real live attorney should I be in a similar situation.
But thanks. That clears it up to the extent that it can be cleared up.

It would be nice if there were actual attorneys versed in Louisiana law that would comment here. Though I would assume by Friday everything should be ironed out. This doesn't strike me as an F. Lee Bailey type case.

If we can't beat TCU without Hill, we weren't going to win the SEC with him.
TCU game shouldn't be a barometer for winning the SEC brah
