Not really, it sucks but its not a big deal. We fricked up and lost and have to deal with it. Just like LSU fans have to deal with getting beat by the ACC. It just sucks that the rest of the SEC has to hear ACC is as good of a conference because LSU couldn't take care of business.

A&M - you're the fricking freshman of the SEC. Congrats on a stellar season but get real, Johnny Manziel isn't the greatest player to ever grace an SEC field, and you sure as hell haven't supplanted Bama/LSU in the West.

Just sayin'...damn, we've only had one season to gauge and it was pretty freaking good. If that doesn't qualify as doing "something", not sure what does?

Considering this was our first year--a year in which no one thought we'd win more than 7--no, no we're not upset about missing the SECCG.

First, "middle of the pack mediocre" isn't exactly a proper description for a team that stands among the top 20 all-time.
Second, why would anyone assume we won't bask in the recruiting windfalls that follow the fortuitous reality of having a "once in a generation player"?

Because it's what LSU achieved after suffering a similar history, not the existence of LSU itself, that folks are discussing.
If LSU's history and recent success were shared by another team, then they too would be a subject of the discussion.
I can't think of any off the top of my head.
