Kelly may have watched some film, but I highly doubt he watched that much USC DL film. This was all word of mouth for this hire.

South Carolina is just a farm team for LSU athletics. Whenever we need a hand we just bend down and scoop up whoever we want. I’m sure the Petry kid would like to come play for a real blue blood program and make some NIL dollars. Look for him to enter the portal and sign with Daddy.

We aren’t the ones carrying on about a former position coach hired away by another school.
Our general position is that we trust Kelly’s assessment of his personnel and the due diligence he conducted on this coach, and that the talent, resources, and alignment at LSU just might mean he does well here whereas he struggled at USCe — which, let’s be totally honest, a lot of coaches struggle there.
For some reason the chickens have their feathers all rustled over that and are making some really imbecilic statements and we’re egging them on because it’s (1) very comical, and (2) very easy.
That’s about the gist of it, and the chickens will, no doubt, be along shortly to prove the point.

So trust a coach who lost to A&M by over 2 touchdowns last year ... what could go wrong.
If he watched tape he saw, on paper, talented DL not getting pressure and ranking #93 & #117 in run defense.
We sold you our worst defensive coach and you paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for him and when we question why a program like LSU would do that all we get is " We trust BK" which is laughable.
