Jimbo was conversed with early on. . .
He was never offered anything. Liucci is either reporting a bogus rumor, or is just making stuff up for clicks.
We aren't even certain Riley was offered. I think he was, but all parties on both sides have denied it.
If anyone was offered, it was Riley. There are no credible sources saying Jimbo was offered.
LSU fans are continue to be thrilled that Fisher is not their coach. They expect more than 8 wins. . .which is Jimbo's ceiling.
