I thought LSU would let it go by now.

Maybe the financial problems in Baton Rouge have something to do with all this....

It’s been less than a week since John Chavis bolted LSU for Texas A&M, leaving behind a slew of frustrated players and a major hole at defensive coordinator, one that Les Miles and the Tigers are still working to fill.

Dang I thaught it would be a nice departure. Apparently not why are they doing this. If they have any class left they would say goodbye and move on. This is just a bad situation for both party's involved. Why are they suing him in the first place ?

Because he took another job while under contract. Our society is going to shite and this is one of thousands of reasons. If anything he should be thankful. LSU paid the man handsomely and was one of, if not the highest paid d coordinator in the country until foster got a recent raise.

Chavis acted like a classless POS and the so called "classy" aggys will defend his betrayal to death.

Going to be quite hilarious when this is all settled and backfires on the entire LSU fan base.

Going to be quite hilarious when aTm falls to 0-5 and realizes that LSU made Chavis.

It's a surprising amount of fun to hate LSU. God you guys suck. Could you act any more like the fans that only get loud when the team is up and whine, piss and moan like no one else could even dream? Talk about living up to the hype. Sure doesn't sounds like the school that bailed on our series in the 90s. Frenchies, they suck everywhere you go.

I certainly get y'all are upset but your bitterness is overcoming any rational thought. It's pretty likely that everyone that holds an actual job in this thread has exited one in virtually the same manner. This is nothing more than normal every day business. It truly blows my mind that even normal rational LSU posters are unable to grasp this months after the fact.

And since the '90s' ended,
LSU is one of the top winnigest programs in CFB, averaging 10 wins per year for the last 15 years....
And A & M ???

Are you suggesting that your program is now in the same tailspin as LSU was 20 years ago, losing the state's top recruits to neighboring programs every year, praying for a .500 season, and willing to make an unknown coach the highest paid in CFB to reverse your fortunes?

LSU and A&M have the exact same records since the arrival of Sumlin.

Chavis left to work for the program with the most upside and potential.

Pretty damn simple.

I hear Letterman is hiring comedy writers. Maybe you can get Chavis lawyers to draw up the contracts...

Too bad it's slim pickins in that state, tbh.

It's funny when you make a point then someone proves it almost immediately.
