Of coarse you do....that gives you hope that your team is not as pitiful as we all think it is...

Regardless of the score -there's no way we lose a home opener at night to a team we're better than. Regardless of how bad our QB situation is right now.

I hope you are right

AU is definetly not a pitiful team, Newton will pose problems for most of the SEC schedule and will only get better as the season goes along. I wish we could have gotten him.

That would make Auburn very happy now, wouldn't it? I am just tickled at the # of Barners who are personally interested to see us lose.

right on,

I really like the LSU dline, thought I'm not sure why Pep plays over Brockers or Downs???
Downs is undersized and is effective as long as he is fresh. If he gets worn down, he is not as good. Brockers has been a pleasant surprise and will likely get more and more reps as the season plays on. The way we rotate players on the D-line, being the starter means nothing.

MSU's oline is poor, wr's are small, qb inexperienced, rb's small. dline is decent, lb's and secondary young. if our d shows up to play and our offense hits on 4 of 8 cylinders, we win unless we turnover the ball multiple times.

yep but they're plenty fast

that's how the spread rolls

is that why we're starting two seniors at LB? our secondary is young, but is pretty talented and can play.

I think LSU will win but they're not going to blow the doors off State or anything...

Plus it's not like Pep is playing bad. He has been holding his own against double teams and he had a really good game yesterday, but I think Brockers will become the starter during the meat of the SEC schedule.

Like I've said before State made a ton of mistakes and the playcalling was not up to par, I highly doubt Chavis will be expecting a repeat showing like that next week.

L.S.u. will eat their QB alive. If nothing else they will win on pure defense alone. But the offense will make some plays as well. 28 to 10 Tigers.

LSU 32, MSU 3

State hasn't faced as complete a defense as LSU's. AU is good against the run. The only reason MSU couldn't get yards through the air against Aubie is the Bulldog receivers can't catch a cold.

The game will be close in the first half but the lack of offense will cause the Bulldog defense to wear down in the second half.
