I wouldn't be gutted by this.
I don't think he's the type to bring home a natty. However, it'd be low odds that we find an upgrade unless we get lucky on a more speculative hire.
ETA:
If we're being honest, Heupel is going to camp out until Venebles is fired and he can return home.

I dont see this ever happening as long as Stoops has any involvement at oklahoma. Everything I've heard was it was an ugly/shitty situation, and heupel came out looking best after what Lincoln "lil count" Riley did...im sure heupel had a well deserved laugh.
