Nebraska beat top10 teams by 3 and 4 TDs.
LSU outscored Clemson, A1abana, Georgia, and Oklahoma (teams that finished in the Top 10) 188-104. That’s an average final score of 47-26... a 3 TD difference

LSU almost lost to a Texas team that was unranked in 1 poll and #25 in the other.
1995 Nebraska barely beat 3-9 WSU (at home).

Hell, your "best poster" had to put the half time score of the Alabama game in his sig.
Well I didn’t “have to” - I chose to knowing what kind of reaction it would elicit. And based on your countless posts about it, I think I was right!

It was mid-October before LSU played a team with a pulse, so it's not that much different. That #9 ranking beside Texas's name is a mirage as we all know where they finished the season. In order to be in contention for GOAT status you had to be above and beyond all of the competition you played that year. LSU had some nailbiters.

Dayum.

Jealousy is a true bitch.
Hell. Even 2019 A l a b a m a could dominate that schedule.

All your post shows is that you don't know shite about college football history. If you just want to go buy SoS, then you would be arguing against 1971 Nebraska.

People have been talking about 1995 Nebraska since...1996.

For the record, I was a frequent visitor to Lincoln during the 1995 season. Also in other seasons after that. Also there when K-State finally beat them and they brought the goal posts down and took them to aggieville.

By your lame arse metrics, 2009 Alabama was a better team. Yet you never saw anyone dumb enough to do that shite. All due to the MoV differences.

Nebraska was elite on both sides of the ball. LSU was not. Didn't even have a top10 defense. Ranked 20th in the SP+ defensively.

The averages were posted already. LSU: 23.2. NEbraska: 30.75

So 14 points is barely winning, but 5 points against Alabama is dominating.

LSU fans everyone. Can't find a dumber box of rocks.

If going undefeated on a higher SoS is the only metric, then why hasn't anyone claimed 2009 Alabama was better than 1995 Nebraska?

Or 2010 Auburn? Or 2013 FSU? Or hell, just last year with 2018 Clemson. 2005 Texas, 2004 USC, 2002 Ohio St?

Margin of Victory which is a sign of a team that is dominate on both sides of the ball.

Not enough that you need to rob a children's hospital to cover it.

I lived in that area in the mid 90s and have spent plenty of weekends on O Street. Back when they didn't have open container laws.

Try again.

That's cool. It's fun schooling people on history and I don't expect you to like it.

Fact of the matter is, LSU was not elite on both sides of the ball.

Jealous. Because no one really talked about those being the best of all time. They do however say LSU 2019 IS.

SORRY HUN.

None of those teams beat 5 top 10 teams by a 3 touchdown average. None of those teams beat 7 top 25 teams. The LSU argument is using both SoS and MoV.

None of those teams had the best offense ever. None of those teams had the Heisman winner by the largest margin ever. Add in the most draft picks ever and it's a cumulative thing.

Or it just shows that one coach runs up the score and the other doesn't. There's a reason that the BCS and the CFP selection committee don't value MoV as much as you do and it's because it's a flawed metric. Hell, even the NET in basketball caps the MoV at 10 in it's calculation.

Just take your loss and move on. You're bloodied and battered.

Don’t care. No one else does either.

Jealous. So jealous, in fact, youre slamming that keyboard with a sledge hammer to tell me about it......along with the ‘robbing a children’s hospital’ bit.

Yes, nobody ever debates 1995 Nebraska, 1971 Nebraska and 2001 Miami.

The entire concept of GOAT just suddenly appeared this year.

Just highlights LSU fans have little dick syndrome.

You mean the collective orgasm you and the rest of the SEC had when LSU lost its defense to the draft? That horrible defense that you all laughed about how, “now LSU will suck since they lost all that good talent to the draft”

Which is it, son?

I doubt Saban gives a frick what Alabama fans think on the topic.

But LSU fans, they sure as hell get mad about it.
