Honestly the fact that they beat teams like they did just running the ball is worth noting itself

Frazier threw 177 passes in 1995 compared to Joe Burrow’s 2019 527. Almost 1/5 of the passing attempts and 800 rushing yards that season.

He was amazing.....amazing in his own way. Good schedule too, i guess. But at some point you’re going to have to admit that one position doesn’t make the team and that y ou have tk look at results.

But beating
s i x out of the top f i f t e e n
AND
e i g h t of the top f i f t e e n in the preseason poll
is something that all of you SEC boys contributed to. You should be proud that you are part of the best conference in any meaningful sport, ever. BUt that thought wanes in order to to not admit what you don't want to admit.

3 one game streaks in the natty this century. Beats the one game streak for Georgia last century.

1 game AIN'T "a streak". You have to have at least 2 CONSECUTIVE identical results.

Truly, 95 nebraska was badass. 2019 LSU was better.

60-3 over 5 years is amazing. 12 of those came in 95.....Oline was better than LSU's (some would argue) against a not so elite league.

It would be foolish of me to say that 95 nebraska was not dominant. It is foolish, though, of these SEC ranters finding about 30% more of this new-found respect for this team that they never hard-legged for before LSU's record setting season

Trying to be real for you folks out there.

2019 LSU wasn't even the best team of the past 10 years, much less all time. You had an elite offense and an ok defense. Your MoV against your opponents wasn't even close to being dominating. The closest win Nebraska had in 95 was 14 points. You need to combine 3 or 4 of LSU's closest wins to get more points than that.

And the reason nobody ever "hard-legged" before was because nobody was foolish enough to try and claim otherwise. Only LSU fans are dumb enough to cherry pick a few stats, pretend 3 and 5 point wins are domination.

Cherry picking the same stats, 2009 Alabama could have made the same claims. 14 wins, undefeated, more awards, etc. But the MoV for those games was close, so nobody was dumb enough to make the claim. Same goes for 2010 Auburn, 2013 FSU, etc.

LSU didn't even come #1 in the SP+ for last year either, much less all time.

You won a national championship, be happy with it.

Do you think LSU's wins over Georgia Southern, Ole Miss, Miss State, Northwestern State, Arkansas and Utah State were better wins than Auburn and Bama?

Nebraska beat top10 teams by 3 and 4 TDs.

LSU almost lost to a Texas team that was unranked in 1 poll and #25 in the other.

It was a good season, but it's not the level of domination that we saw from 95 Nebraska.

Hell, your "best poster" had to put the half time score of the Alabama game in his sig.

You didn't answer the question which isn't surprising.
quote:

Nebraska beat top10 teams by 3 and 4 TDs.

They played 4 ranked teams which I believe were all in the top 10. LSU beat their top 4 opponents by an average of 23.2. That was the number 2, 4, 6 and 7 teams. So, that's pretty much a wash between the two teams.

So, looking at the other games using your argument, you're either gonna have to admit that LSU had the better season or LSU's wins vs unranked teams were better wins than your #8 Bama team and #14 Auburn. The choice is yours because that's the hole you've dug yourself into with this logic.

Your question was just there to avoid the points.

Nebraskas lowest MOV vs any opponent: 14

LSU's lowest 3: 3, 5, 7. Have to add all 3 together to get beyond Nebraska's 1 game.

Nebraska top10 Mov: 24, 23, 38, 38. So their lowest MoV in those games is equal to the LSU average. But the average comes out to 30.75. More than a TD in points difference on average.

And that's without ignoring games like Texas where LSU almost lost to an unranked/25 team.

Jealousy will create stories in your head to say that the best team ever dominated this schedule.

The team you’re hardleggin for didn’t play a ranked game until LATE October.

Dayum.

Jealousy is a true bitch.
Hell. Even 2019 A l a b a m a could dominate that schedule.
