I am biased, but I agree.
QB and D-Line are the most important positions in football. Our QB will be an upgrade from last year, and our DLine should be dominant. WRs are also elite.
What concerns me is that Vegas hates LSU. I certainly can see the argument for why, but I think there are too many positives to think this team only wins 6 games. There are just so many question marks:
New HC, OC, and, DC - The HC is unquestionably a positive, but the DC is unproven and the OC was a meh hire.
DB - The entire Defensive backfield is filled with guys that have played and had success in major college football, they just have never played here and together.
OL - 1 returning starter, but last year's line was garbage. We brought in guys that are far more talented, they are just unproven.i just don't see a way the OL is worse.
QB - All 3 guys are better than Max Johnson. None are going to be good enough to beat Bama, but to beat the other teams? Arkansas, Florida, A&M, Ole Miss, Tennessee. Of course.
The schedule is tough because we have all the "toss up" games on the road. I'm assuming Vegas is giving us Ls across the board. I think the odds are we win at least 1 or 2. That's why I've already laid down my very biased money on the Tigers over 6.5

I want to see a team that gives maximum effort regardless of record or opponent. Very few missed assignments or penalties. Just grinders who shut their mouths and work. No off the field problems.
Just described Brian Kelly. I'll just say this, I think people are sleeping on LSU. QB play will be better than people think. OL which was a huge question mark is looking remarkably good to almost outstanding. WR are stout, RB will never be an issue at LSU.
Defensive line will be one of the better ones in the NCAA. LBers as well are surprisingly looking very good and the secondary which we were very concerned about looks to be vastly improved with new comers shining!

You win dumbest take of the day. Congrats. LSU is poor but paying all these buyouts and big time contracts for Kelly and staff do not seem to slow them down. NIL seems to be taking off pretty well. Your evaluation is garbage. Post less. Or not at all.

Kelly always had ND playing that way.
Less about the coach and more about the kids you bring in. You take one or two Louisiana kids and put them at ND they are more than likely going to act like ND kids.
You have a bunch of Louisiana kids together, they are going to act like Louisiana kids no matter the coach.
That’s not me bashing Louisiana kids, they can obviously ball the f out.

Most folks, including the Vegas lines, disagree. BK was not very successful (70% winning record) at ND playing an annually weak schedule. In 2021 he only played two top ten teams, lost to them both. Only played one other lowly (#18) ranked team all season. He barely beat 4 other terrible teams. He has never played a SEC schedule. Talent? Remains to be seen. ND is preseason ranked at #6, where is LSU ranked? That’s what most football gurus think of the LSU talent level. Money? Lol..LSU is one of the poorest schools in the SEC. with the addition of Texas and OU, LSU is bottom tier at best. And historically if LSU loses a couple of games early they quit the season. So yeah, it’s a long shot, and certainly presumptive to say, “ LSU is going to be pretty good...get over it.” Maybe, but it’s a long shot.

We are going to find out. Doesn't work that way at Bama. If Kelly can assimilate them into the Borg, the SEC has a problem.
