LSU is envious of Florida

Florida has a more recent football championship, basketball championship (LSU has none 
), and baseball championship (with UF beating LSU in the title game).
And in their best basketball season in forever (which will be vacated), daddy Florida still beats LSU TWICE during a down year.

On top of all of that Florida has arguably the best academics in the SEC behind Vanderbilt while LSU's are average at best.
AND ON TOP OF THAT, Florida actually has a competent government (or at least the most one can be) that encourages businesses to the state and lets them thrive.

the internet you are using says lsu is the 1935 basketball national championship.

Except for cooking food. Louisiana has the best food in the country, hands down. Probably because there’s nothing else to do there but eat.

I really want to rub it in, but if I'm being 100% honest I told my girlfriend that the refs would keep us in this game if not win it for us outright.
SEC benefits from Florida improving their chances of getting into the tournament, knowing LSU is likely to suffer from some penalties from the NCAA.
Conference basketball is worthless because the conferences will always protect their seeds to give them the easiest routes to the championship.
