Gotta understand that Texas built up its record vs. charity cases year-in-and-year-out in the old SWC and the pathetic Big 12.

If Texas had played in the SEC each season of its history, I dare say Texas wouldn't even be ranked among the top 20 all time winningest teams.

Texas...is....a....FRAUD!

Ah, good point. I moved to Alabama 10 years after graduation so I couldn't possibly know any rich alums.

Negative. I actually couldn't even find any Vol fans when I was in Tennessee for work last month. You would've thought I was 30 minutes from Tuscaloosa.

Well you must have misquoted. You said you knew some rich UT alums. UT is Tennessee.

Seems LSU is getting a lot more bang for its buck than either Whorn or Aggie.

How about this:

Since 2000

LSU - always a fierce competitor with 3 nattys
Texas - 1 natty but totally irrelevant the last 15 years

Lol Death Valley looks like an incredible place to watch a game and I'm genuinely annoyed that COVID-19 robbed us of an opportunity to play there last year. If this addition goes through, I'm looking forward to eventually getting to watch Texas play there.

But pissing matches about stadium size, especially amongst those that are over 80-85k (i.e. massive) are just funny to me.

Don’t forget Tennessee being toilet paper and losing their sec status as big6 and the Orange UT.

Is the gas station at which you're presently employed closer to Austin or Baton Rouge? Just want to gauge whether or not you're going to shift your fandom to another school from which you didn't graduate now that Texas is in the SEC.

You missed counted LSU's. They have 5. 1908, 1958, 2003, 2007, 2019. Weird, does that make us a blueblood TU fans?

The Texas endowment is $32 Billion, LSU is not even $600 Million

LSU is a pauper

LSU should claim 1908 but, for whatever reason, they don't. Now that the landscape is shifting, every SEC school just needs to claim every unclaimed national title for which they're eligible and really pump those numbers up.

What? They were hot garbage that year, only outscoring opponents 450 - 11.

and with that great discrepancy Texas only has 3 more NCs covering 11 different sports to LSU's 47 covering 7 different sports and had more NCs in football...

I so enjoyed that CWS National Championship over the Horns in '09...
