I agree with your post but a lot of LSU posters thought LSU was back after Bama lost to Clemson.

Are you shitting me. What idiot actually goes to an NFL game? I like the Saints this year. Brees is a weapon and would like to see them win. Louisiana could use a break with all the negative vibes coming from there. Unfortunately the Rams can be damn good too. Good luck to the Saints.

Like most folks I only watch the football. The rest is important to the participants and their families too. But lets face it outside those no one really gives a damn. Maybe not fair but them's the breaks.

During my years at UA I went to Memorial to see UK, UT when they had Earnie and Bernie at some point. Charles Cleveland, the greatest athlete I ever saw and Pistol Pete when he scored 69 I believe and spit or either got spit on. He was a show. Most Bama fans, for better or worse, just don't care or much follow the others if you hadn't heard. And that is not disparaging other sports. Men's BB is trash but I read about the games some during the tournament. I did like Wimp since I played softball on his team for a time and he was a riot. Good you are good this year. You're a rival I guess for UK, AU and UT and maybe any other upstarts.

Congrats on having something you can cheer about little bill. Do you have season tickets? If not better act now. You probably have a real chance to do some celebrating here. No it's not football but it's the next best thing and everybody can't win. So get that foot stomping in while you can. Another thing your new football rivalry with A&M should be fun. Someone your own competitive size and nearby. You, Auburn and the Aggies all share a lot of commonality as to potential and capability.
