LSU is a “next year team”

yea we get it, LSU basketball is a solid team and could (not likely) make a run deep into the tourney this year dependent on the help our bench gives.
Let’s face it. LSU is a good team with a starting 5 that could compete with nearly any other starting 5 in the land. However, the depth of this team is lacking, which i believe will cause problems down the stretch.
Come 2020-2021, this team is likely an elite 8 team, with a final 4 ceiling. If CWW can convince some guys to return (Watford, were looking at you) for another year, along with a stout recruiting class, the rest of the nation should be put on watch.

We’re a half decent team who went on a weird 8-0 sec run who is now on the losing end of games

If LSU gets a letter it will be nothing more than a formality, like Auburn. They sat Wade for almost the entire season, like Auburn did the players that were mentioned. Who's to say (I know it's not likely) that his strong arse offer wasn't playing time or starting as a true freshman? The kid didn't play at LSU, the team he did play for might need to worry.
That being said Miss State got punished for Cam and he played for Auburn, who was proven to have done nothing wrong.
LSU might not be a blue blood in basketball but they are in football so they have a strong compliance department that has been ahead of this the entire time. To think otherwise is foolish and wishful thinking. Remind me, what school was Emmert once employed by?

I don’t really get this. Proud of,our team..We have a very short bench.. no rim protector.. and no Big in our recruiting class. Three or four Bigs on the radar screen... but none signed yet... and freshman Bigs don’t get you to the final eight.
