The better question would be did Bryant/Saban make Bama or did Bama make them?
I think there is some of both. Since 1923, only one Alabama coach who coached an entire season failed to have at least one 10 win season. And there were a couple of horrendous coaches in there.
It started in the 1920’s with Wallace Wade. Bryant played for Wade and that is why he went to Alabama. Stallings played for Bryant.
Bryant’s tenure reinvigorated the program, which had seen some tough seasons in the 1950’s. Just like Saban reinvigorated it after the Mike era. Both Bryant and Saban would have been successful most places. But I think they had more success at Alabama than they would have most other schools. Their records support this. I do think Alabama makes coaches. Take Stallings for example. He was very successful at Alabama. He had a losing record at every other coaching stop in his career. Alabama makes some coaches, but it also eats some and spits them out.

You want to focus on ALABAMA ad nauseam, because you can't take the overwhelming numbers BAMA has put up.
Because mostly due to Bear and Saban, like I mentioned

That’s for posting Vandy is 0-60 against AP top 5. If you dish it out, then get ready to take it back. I personally have nothing against LSU, but embarrassing us is not cool.

11-15 this century. LSU football doesn't count pre-2000.

An LSU fan born in 1949 has witnessed as many LSU national titles in baseball (7) as home wins vs Alabama in Tiger Stadium (7)

Seven of those eleven wins were between 2000-2007. Over a quarter of your total wins came during that 8 year span. You feasted on Mike Dubose and Mike Shula. Since 2008, LSU is 4-15.
