So you can't cite any that had an offensive coordinator and a subordinate splitting the duties?
a subordinate who revamped LSU's entire passing play book?

Yes, passing game coordinator is a subordinate to the offensive coordinator.
That's how it's structured.

We will revisit this thread during the season. I hope you are around to give us your "insight".

This has absolutely nothing to do with the 2020 season. It's about Orgeron and his structuring of his staff in a way that had never been done before IN 2019.

Wait... so if Joe Brady was coaching the receivers, who was Steve Ensminger coaching?
Oh yeah, the most improved player in college football history.

A PGC is somebody who gameplans the passing game against the weekly opponent. Linehan is the new PGC. Do you expect him to revamp the passing play book? Somebody who revamps an entire aspect of a play book is far from a subordinate.

Wait, so now you're claiming that an offensive assistant isn't a subordinate to the offensive coordinator?
Wow.

I am vehemently saying your stuck on some "title" bullshite. E specifically said Brady calls plays. That makes him a co-OC.........he was set to be paid higher than your OC, to boot. That is one hell of a "subordinate".

Well, they matter.

No, it doesn't. He was literally the PGC, not the co-OC. This is the entire point.

How many times does it have to be explained to you that 2019 & 2020 are different?
In 2019 Joe Brady was Steve Ensminger's subordinate, being the passing game coordinator on Ensminger's offensive staff. What was going to happen in 2020 doesn't change that.

In other words..........Brady called plays all over the field. It all boiled down to what package LSU was in.

How does Brady manage the offense with Ensminger?
The title of "passing game coordinator" doesn't sound like it offers a whole lot, but Brady is very much involved in LSU's offensive game plan. While speaking to reporters on media day, Ensminger broke down how he manages play-calling duties with his assistant.
We talked about it before the game. I tell him, I know what my strengths are and I know what my weaknesses are. Joe is better with our compact packages. Joe is better at our empty package than I am. So I tell him, we talk about it before the game, Look, when I want to go empty, be ready. If it's third and whatever, and I have a call, I make it. If not, I tell him. He has it all highlighted. I'm like, Take it.
We can go to empty right now. I said, Joe, I'm going empty. Take it, he's ready for it.
Compact meaning our bunch packages, a condensed formation, stuff like that. He's better at that than I am. I know it. I tell him, Hey, I want to go whatever it is, bunch, pack 'em all in here. I said, Call it. He's ready for it.

Yes, when Ensminger wasn't sure what to call, he'd have his subordinate take over in the areas that he specialized. This is exactly how Brady got the duties in goal to go. Ensminger's playcalling in that area was lacking.
Yet another example of Orgeron having a structure that hadn't been seen before.

I just don't care for lies. I find it odd that LSU fans know so little about what was actually going on. I heard multiple times that Brady would take over and call the plays.
You are all trying to downplay the significance of what Brady brought. I shouldn't be surprised. You do it every time a coach leaves LSU.

Ahh, so it was Orgeron when E specifically said "you do this better than me, so you call it"?
You know it wasn't O's call because nobody can understand a damn word he says.

Thank you for finally showing why you're so butthurt. Ed Orgeron winning a national title and being successful bothers the shite out of you.

And? Does this somehow not make you a jealousy bitch over Orgeron owning Auburn and having a ton of success?
No, no it doesn't.
