No where in there does it say anything about creating a new position.

Giving the PGC a specific area of the field to call plays had never been done before. I.E. Orgeron did something no other coach had thought of.

You're welcome.

ETA: If I say Joe Burrow did something no other player had ever done before, that is a factual statement. He won the heisman by the widest margin ever.

In no way does that insinuate that he "created" something.

You're a dumbass.

That's true. No coach has ever had somebody call plays specifically in the redzone.

Or had two OC's, one for pass plays and one for run plays. I should get a patent on that one.

ETA O did not reinvent the wheel. He brought a very intelligent O mind into to overhaul what Ensminger had been doing for years. Nothing more/nothing less.

Yeah, this isn't what was happening.

Are you going to continue splatting your idiotic takes all over the place? It's like watching a monkey fling shite at the zoo.

E had only been the OC for one year prior to Brady getting there. Prior to that, dude was last a full time OC in 1998.

E has been OC at multiple schools during his coaching career. E was OC at LSU in 2018. How did that O look compared to last year? You saw that O. Two TE sets. Fullback. That is what E does......until this year.

are you positive?

Q. How do you decide on what you want to do in the red zone each time?
STEVE ENSMINGER: Look, I have a game plan that's sitting right here. I'll be honest with you here. When we get in the red zone, 12 in, that's Joe Brady. Unless I want to run a play-action, go fast, we'll go. When we get inside the 12, I tell Joe, It's yours and he calls it.

I was being facetious.........because you are acting like O did something that has never been done before.

LSU had two TEs record a reception in 2018, one of them had 2. Just like 2019, LSU ran mostly 11 personnel in 2018.

You're matter of factly stating completely inaccurate information. It's quite impressive.

I can say the exact same thing about you. In fact, you are more wrong than you are right about LSU........from what I have seen.

You move the goalpost as much as anybody I have ever seen.

ETA in fact every time I prove you wrong you move it. It's quite impressive.

I'm sorry that the 12 and in is not the redzone. That would be the 20 and in.

Maybe you should trying being correct occasionally.

Looks like the 12 and in, I guess we'll just ignore those other 8 yards.

Link another passing game coordinator given this level of play calling duty.

I'll wait.

So are the 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 & 20. So it wasn't in the redzone, it was mostly goal to go situations.

You're welcome.

I did. I told you there have been two OC's before. One calls running plays the other calls passing plays..........for the entire game. Tulsa did that exact thing when Gus was co-OC there. Herb Hand and Gus each called plays in certain situations.

ETA other schools have done exactly what Brady did and take over inside the redzone. This is not some new concept.
