Why would any coach with half a brain try and run the ball on LSU, when the secondary is consistently giving receivers and 20-30 yard cushion

Running an old school offense is exactly what not to do against LSU because that’s all Pelini knows how to scheme against

That'll do. Our linebackers have been a train wreck trying to react to lateral runs, our pass defense has been a complete abomination and Pelini looks overall clueless on how to stop a modern offenses.
So yes, please run an old school between the tackles ground based offense. That might be our only shot.

Because it's way too forced. The games were a lot of fun when I was a kid. But, there hasn't been enough to cause me to care too much about the game yet like other schools we've been playing for so long.
