2001 with a close second of 2019.
When the SECCG debuted in 1992, LSU football was closer to the moon than a trip to Legion Field (and later of course to Atlanta).
2019 we were there and of course it was amazing but 2001 was the end of the dark days of LSU football

2019 was awesome. one of my favorite stats from that year was joe burrow throwing more TDs in atlanta than matt ryan did. never had a problem with georgia and always rooted for em against bama but theyve started to get uppity with their newfound success.

Those beat downs of Georgia were fun, but the best for me is definitely:
LSU remains the only 3-loss champion is SEC history with that upset.

Same here. I wasn't a huge college football fan before attending LSU. Just casual watching with parents and friends as most high school kids do.
But that season was huge.
The 2019 game was probably the best an LSU team has looked, but that first one was fun.

Every single one we played in, win or loose. It’s always a good game and the outcome is usually predetermined based on the eye test through the season.
