re: LSU fans, what are your thoughts on Tommy Hodson?

I was a student when Hodson was there. I liked him a lot, but I would place Jeff Wickersham, Alan Risher, and definitely Bert Jones ahead of him, maybe David Woodley. He was good though. No doubt about that. And his back-up, Sol Graves, wasn't exactly trash. He was pretty durned good too.

For guys younger than Hodson, I would consider Matt Mauck and Matt Flynn.

Hodson led the players who called for Mike Archer to be promoted to HC, probably the worst thing to happen in LSU Football history.
