What’s funny is that is exactly what happened at home versus an unranked Kentucky team. They know they have gone all in this year and have no choice but to hope for the very best because they know they are screwed next year. Has them putting on the blinders.

While you're right about games being won on points, if your goal is to just grade a unit then total offense/defense is a better measure. Special teams and the other side of the ball have a huge impact on points. The defense can get a pick-6 or a turnover that results in a short field where the offense "gets" a FG without getting a first down for example. Those points aren't scored by the offense or given up by the defense.
So if you want to look how good a team is... a combo of scoring offense and defense is the best.
If you just want to look at how good one side of the ball is, total offense/defense is the best.

That’s not the point we’re trying to make right now, we’re trying to explain that this is a really really good offense. But you seem to think yours is better which is a joke when you look at the trash you have played.
