LSU will still have more than double NC"s in college baseball when you wake up tomorrow than every single team the last 46 years.

OU's got a good team. If Cam Johnson can find his control and command, you guys should go far.

I’m not melting down. Teams go through down seasons, and this just happens to be one for LSU. This year’s team is solid, just not at the level we’ve seen in past seasons. That’s simply the nature of baseball—no reason to overreact. I think JJ will have them improving as the season goes along, but if not, life goes on.

Melt??
LSU was 3-12 in conference in 2024 and was 1 dropped out from winning a unc regional and hosting a super .
Lot of ball left to play.
But Jay did miss on the fielding transfers.
No offense to high point and grand valley but the caliber of play is much higher in the SEC.

Yeah man we’re kinda off to a mediocre SEC start. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks. And so does LSU. Sometimes teams go through steaks where a play here or there can matter and isn’t made. And in SEC, no series is easy. We were 14-16 last year and I am hoping for 17-14 this year. We still have tough work to do.
As for Cam, he’s had 2 bad early ending outings in a row. I wonder if HC Skip starts Xander next week vs TX. Xander is who relieved Cam and saved our pen by how far he got. But then does he use Cam as middle reliever? Most likely Cam starts again.
So much more baseball to go. We are around a 6-9 place team in conference when it all shakes out. But are built where once in playoffs they could make a run. Skip is a pitching HC and usually has them better as season goes. Our problem last year was ace pitcher got zero bat support. We added some bats and still have a good pitching roster.
But its early. 30 Conf games only 6 played. Lots to go.
Good luck going forward.
