Miss State did beat the worst Mizzou team since 1999. That is a fact. Essentially, Miss State needed Mizzou to experience a "down year" to accomplish that feat.

Wrong. Missouri was a northern state thru-and-thru...more northern in identity than most northeastern states. Missouri has always loved our yankee identity and love the fact that we helped Sherman accomplish his historic march.
The Missourians who fought for the south were nothing more than traitors, forever etched out of Missouri's prideful yankee history and traditions.
Please don't lump Missourians in with redneck southerners. It's insulting to us.
We're only in this conference to win football games and embarrass the SEC. Think of us as the football version of Sherman.
