I will have to say it does seem that Saban is on the mind of LSU fans quite a bit.

well, its hard to not talk about Saban, when every bammer is on a LSU site, talking about how great Saban is.

You're partly right but success doesn't last long these days. You've won 2 national titles in 6 years. Was last year a hiccup or the begining of a decline?? What if JJ doesn't turn out like ya'll hope?? How fast can a free fall start if

You're assuming that everything will fall in a negative way for LSU. The same picture can be painted about Alabama.

What if Saban can't hire good/decent/great coaches? What if the good ones keep bailing on him for lateral moves at your fiercest rivals' programs? What if... What if... What if...

Alabama is witnessing Saban for all his strengths (winning at a high level) AND his shortcomings (losing great coaches left and right).

Metrymini....

<<Then we are due. LOL. Is the past relative on this site now?>>

I am the present. I am here, and you still chickened out before the Bama game.

Come November, you're toast.

Chavis can't turn around the defense?

WTF??? okay, if you want to play like that, what if Saban loses 5 or 6 games again this yr?? Is bama on the decline??

Miles experimented with something and it blew up in his face, and he went out and made corrections, and it should help.

What about UF last yr?? they lost 4 games, with the Heisman Trophy winner, was UF on the decline??

what a stupid freakin post

IF Miles wins a national title and shows that he can bring this team back from this disastorous season, then yes I will give Miles respect and quit calling him Larry Coker Jr. I for one have never bragged about recruiting classes (call me crazy, a Bammer that doesn't brag about recruiting) because it doesn't mean a thing until they hit the field. Julio lived up to the hype, but what if Randle, Richardson, or any other big name recruit falls on his face. Then all the recruiting BS was a joke.

Three good reasons not be scared shitless of Saban.

1) UAB
2) ULM
3) Utah

Not this shite again.

Seems like I heard that before.

Didn't you lose a bet over a certain SEC football game this fall. I don't remember the terms but I figured you for a welch along with being a no show coward. We didn't have a meeting set up before the Bama victory over Louisiana State, but we did have one for the Louisiana State opener against your traditional D1aa rent a win. I showed for the planned "meeting", you didn't. You are now a proven coward.

Are you just going to repeat the same shite this year that you were wrong about last year?
I'm still waiting on the shite you used to say about having meet the last 4 or 5 LSU coaches and that they all agreed that Miles was a better coach than Saban, while you neglect the fact that one of those was Saban and another one was Miles. Bring back that shite.

It can most definatly go both ways, but BT is displaying all the cardinal signs of delusionism that you LSU fans so often pin on us. To say LSU is gonna go 13-0 next year and piledrive Bama in Bryant-Denny is laughable. These 2 teams will more than likely decide the west (though Ole Miss could have a say) and to say one team will easily take care of the other is delusional coming from either side.

seriously they went undefeated, finished 2nd in one poll and beat the #2 teams out of the Pac-10 and SEC

I would not consider this a "bad loss" as the other two

Seems to me you are just trying to justify your dislike of Miles and LSU. He did win a Nat'l Champ last year, and Bammers want to claim that as an aberration or credit "Saban's players."

If I were you, I'd be more concerned about the inroads Tennessee is going to make into Alabama recruiting wise and if Saban will EVER be able to keep coaches under him. Recruits will catch on if Saban is constantly having to restock his coaching cabinet.

Larry Coker won a NC his first yr at the U. Saban didn't leave LSU with a oline, and Miles went out and built that up, and won his NC in yr, 3. If Miles continues to recruit at a high level (like he is) and continues to hire solid coaches (like he is) Miles will keep LSU on top. So, the comparison is really stupid, and shows that you just want to flame, or just really dislike Miles.

ummm, didn't he win one in 07??? Wow, expectations are WAY to high in T-town.

dude, I know you are a bammer and trying to better the lose, I would also.

BUT, really go look at Utah's schedule, it was aweful. Their best win was Oregon St. and then maybe a toss up between TCU or BYU. They played like 4 or 5 teams that lost 8 or more games.

Bama, should have won that game by 2 TD's
