Well, that's because most of the damage was caused by flooding

There was no significant storm surge or inland flooding in the State of Florida.

Now you're the weatherman?

Tell that to residents of St. Augustine or Jax Beach.

I suppose that depends on whether or not it was your house that was flooded or not.

Being in the business, you should be able to tell your LSU buddies that Florida got lucky with Matthew.

We can all be thankful for that.

LOL.....

The scenes in downtown St. Augustine during the storm, widely circulated via social media, were bleak. Avenida Menendez was hardly discernible from the St. Augustine Inlet at high tide, witnesses said, although the streets were more or less clear within a couple hours once the tide went out.

Lsu offered to move the game to Sunday or even Monday and Florida declined

I don't much care, but I do care about BS used to justify asinine behavior.

No LSU did not offer to move the game to Sunday or Monday. They offered to move the game to Sunday or Monday IN LSU TIGER STADIUM.

People spouting this crap on Tr about Florida wouldn't do this or that don't know what Aliva wanted or "offered." Truth is, he was a dick of the first order and since he successfully got the USCe game moved to Baton Rouge the previous year without any compromise, he dug in and refused any compromise from Florida expecting to get the same for free.

Florida could not advance guarantee police and EMT services for Sunday or Monday for 80,000 people given the cat-4 storm potential. It may have been fine for a small college, with 5,000 people attending... but not for a major event. This was explained by the State of Florida authorities, not just U of Fla... but then Aliva et. Al went to the press with all sorts of BS charge, repeated ad nauseam by multiple rubes on Tr.

In the resulting negotiations, Aliva was a prefect arse and in the end got what he wanted, another home SEC game. In the process it took the SEC to finally step up and tell LSU to shut up and play. In the meantime, the rest of the conference was pretty disgusted at the machinations of the LSU administration.

Truth is, when Florida beat LSU after all that shite talking, it was the most popular win of the year throughout the conference. And that is saying a lot given the rep Florida fans have.

My problem with my LSU fan friends is that they often seem clueless about how they appear to the rest of the conference. They seem to live in a bubble echo chamber where they are either dominant or the victims of a plot. Florida winning that game was no plot unless the refs cheated.

Now, back to the subject of trolling... have a nice day.

Your revisionist history is strong...

"I want our fans and everyone to know LSU made every attempt to try and play this game," Alleva said at a Thursday evening press conference. "We offered to go to Gainesville on Sunday, fly in Sunday morning and fly back Sunday night. We offered the opportunity for them to come here Saturday or Sunday.

I can understand how this game hasn't meant much to you since Lsu had beaten the gaytors 5 out of the last 6 years.

This is rich hearing how clueless Lsu fans appear to the rest of the conference and how Lsu fans live in a bubble echo chamber coming from an ALABAMA FAN LIVING IN NOLA!
There are no fans in the conference more clueless than Bama. Well maybe Ole Miss. congrats your fans know more than Ole Miss.

Speaking of clueless, actually "Nola Bama fan" the most popular win of the year throughout the conference was watching Clemson raise the national championship trophy!
