Really?

I'd think he'd be very "in demand". In the NFL these days...a LB who can cover? I'd think he would go and make big money.

Ya, there are rumors that he has told Saban he will return. Who knows if that happens.

Next years starter if AJ leaves would probably be Morris, but it could be Blake Sims and we run the read.

Hypothetically if McCarron did leave, who starts next year?

Landon Collins. I bet he would look good under center...

Don't really want to think about it.

Options are:

Blake Sims - dual threat RB is the change of pace back up this year. Looks great run the zone read. Don't know if he is equipped to run Alabama's preferred offense and I doubt Alabama goes zone read as its primary offense.

Philip Ely - he is pro style, but nothing I have seen suggests he will be an above average SEC QB. Looks very limited to me.

Alec Morris - RS freshman hasn't played at all, don't know anything about him but I would almost be willing to bet he is more talented than Ely and he will have at least been in the system for a full year+.

Cooper Bateman - current commitment would be a true freshman. He cleary looks to be the future Alabama QB to me, but I don't think he would get the nod immediately as a true freshman.

There are options, but no great ones in my opinion.

We experimented with Phillip Sims before he transferred.

I think with Saban fleeing for the NFL, all the juniors will bail. They know they only reason Saban is leaving is because the NCAA is about to kill Alabama for the next 20 years.

I wonder if Shula is available

Is McCarron staying ?

Million dollar question. I think it will depend on where he projects in the draft. First or second rounder and I think he is gone.

I WANT EVERY ONE OF YOU TO UNDERSTAND THIS ONE THING ABOUT AJ MCCANNON.

HE WILL BE BACK AND WILL BE GOING FOR HIS 4TH NATIONAL TITLE.

2009: backup QB
2011: starting QB
2012: starting QB
2013: starting QB

I don't think Lacy or Fluker go. Do you have an inside source?

no, just dont think his carries are going to go up with yeldon on his heels, and he is projected as either the 1st or 2nd RB taken, so his stock is probably not going to get any higher. he should be a solid 2nd round pick.

I think it's only likely to be Mosley & Milner.

Fluker, lacy, an AJ are not graded out as 1st round picks. Fluker's a bulldozer on the run, but he's been getting torn up by speed rushers this year off the edge. That is a big weakness for an OT in the NFL, particularly for a 1st rounder.

How many seniors does Bama have? I thought it was a small class, but it sounds like Bama will once again have a full signing class. ALthough that is not surprising.
