They finally started scheduling Miss St. mid-season for 2018, instead of the usually week 3 sleeper. OleMiss is now week 3.

Congrats, Bulldogs. They finally got the message in Baton Rouge.

And with that.....I hope Miss St. wins out this season.

Melt over.....unlike the delusion still over at TD.

Saddest moral victory I've ever seen.

YawYaw has definitely got this team playing like a team with one hortbeat. If one player gets thrown out for a cheapshot another player steps up and gets thrown out too so his teammate isn't alone in the lockerroom.

I don't know which number is greater.....

The number of suspensions or the number of(cough cough) injuries.

I'm thinking about going play for them Saturday since no one else wants to.

LSU didn't do anything. The REC just felt bad for LSU and told the SEC office to schedule it that way.

They've been wanting it for several years now. That I DO know.

Last week, most fans that pay attention knew LSU wasn't ready for what hit them.

I'm glad the game will be mid-season now. Every damn year, LSU plays on cruise control and MSU makes it their SuperBowl.

Advantage: Miss ST

Who are we switching you with?

I would love to play Alabama earlier in the season

I don't know who YOUR mid-season foe was. Check your 2018 schedule.

The consensus in Baton Rouge is that this is great news. Past few battles were a field goal or TD decision. Until last week.

Fans here want the switch permanent.

The switch on our end was MSU for OM.

We'll be able to play Ole Miss on cruise control in sept. They will be horrible for years to come. Good move.

I know we always play Alabama, Kentucky, Arkansas and OM the last 4 games. We always played LSU and Auburn in the front end. We are one of the few teams who don’t have a consistent by week before playing Bama

Y'all were plenty fired up for the game. All your fans were talking shite all week long and it was your first real test this year same as MSU. MSU does take the LSU series personal though. We are now 3-19 vs LSU last 22 years. You'd take that personal too. Y'all can schedule the game anytime you want and MSU is always going to be more fired up for it than LSU. When you view the MSU series like you do the Alabama series you will finally meet us equally in that area. Till then it won't matter when you schedule it. You'll have to rely on your increased talent to win. It'll never be cause you want it more than MSU. Consider it a show of respect for the success LSU has had in football the last twenty years. LSU, Ole Miss, Bama, Auburn are the 4 biggest games every year for MSU. It's just how it is. That's not meant as disrespect to aTm, Arkansas, Kentucky.

Of course they do. But you don't think those bye-weeks before the LSU vs Bama game aren't requested?

Which is to also say that Saban has sometimes lobbied to change that. LSU still prefers the bye that week.

I for one would prefer a bye AFTER Bama. Every year, LSU drags in the week after playing Bama. Usually against Arkansas.

They also have to consider the fact that for 30 damn years we played the game every year in Baton Rouge.

I would hardly call those two ejection cheap shots. They might have been within the rules, but hardly cheap shots! Alexander's was a little worse but Farrell's was ridiculous. Anyway, that's over with.
