I'm actually pulling for LSU. In the span of 4 weeks have gone from first 4 out to a great chance to advance today.

It reminds me of the Ags run in 2022. Started off the season slow and then got hot late and made it to Omaha.

Yep, we got pretty hot at the right time. Pitching let us down. LSU has some pitching issues but overall they have really stepped up. Not sure I can remember many teams where ptiching improved at the end of the year like it has for LSU without someone coming back from an injury.
They have some day 3 issues but the bats are hot enough to carry them on day 3.

An honest assessment is that UNC has more consistent hitters up and down their lineup and more pitching depth. They have also been exceptionally good fielding robbing some solid hits.
It will be a tall order to win tonight, but if the bats are hot and pitching doesn't get rattled we have a decent shot. If we get past this one tonight we host the supers and we become a serious threat.

True but credit where credit is due. They've turned the corner with schoss and they'll be good as long as he's there.
Then again perhaps I'm just grateful to the ags for helping us get rid of the cancer that is pierce. I'll probably eat my words and they'll retain him now.
