At this point, you'd better hope so.

and Bama is in BR

Bama won by 4 touchdowns the last time they played in BR and haven't lost a game over there since Myles Brennan was in the 7th grade. The game being played there is not an advantage for LSU

You can't possibly lose the amount of production we lost and not feel some sort of set back. College football relies very heavily on experience and leadership, something this team will lack. Plenty of talent to make up for it, but that will take some time.

Fortunately, the schedule is relatively easy outside of the normal gauntlet. Between Auburn, UF, & Bama, we're looking at 2-1 at best and 0-3 at worst. A&M is laughable even in our worst years. SC and Miss St could be sleepers, but those should be a walk in the park.

7-3 at worst and completely understandable
9-1 at best and we should all be happy if that's the case.

This is the key part of your post. It is 2020. 2020 is unforgiving, and even when you think it can't get worse, 2020 says "Hold my beer."

You just presented 2020 with a challenge.

Last year at this time had you ever heard of CEH? Did you know who jet was? Chase and Marshall were two TrSo that didn't really show much in '18, especially Marshall. Did you know anything about Thad except he was Randy's son? I bet you were one of the loudest "Burrow is lower tier SEC QBs".

Bet you had no clue who Pat Queen was either. What was your thoughts on Jacob Phillips? That's if you had any. Any insight on Tyler "no rice in the gumbo" Shelvin?

Point being. Most of those players were not greatly known by the majority of the public. Yet they stepped up and led LSU to the greatest season in college football. LSU has been getting that kind of talent on offense for decades. Finally in '19 they were put in a system that showcased their talents.

Before throwing that last shovel of dirt on LSU football's grave let some of the season playout. At least first four games.

FYI LSU upgraded at DC and PGC.
